Kansas City’s historic East Side is about to welcome a new chapter of excellence. On Saturday, September 13th, The BeVel Barber Lounge will host its Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting: A Black Affair — an upscale celebration blending culture, entrepreneurship, and community collaboration.

This is more than a ribbon cutting. The BeVel is building a collaborative ecosystem with partners like The Soul of Santa, Cire Transportation, Vine Street Brewery, Equal Minded Cafe, Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City, KIN Seltzer, Commander Cigars, and In Good Company. Together, they’re spotlighting the power of small businesses and local nonprofits working side by side to strengthen Kansas City.
