Are you a wine enthusiast or just love a good glass of cabernet or chardonnay? Join genKC for an unforgettable evening of tasting, networking, and friendly competition on October 2nd at The Maverick in the Crossroads District of Kansas City! Whether you're a seasoned sommelier or a casual sipper, this is your chance to put your palate to the test—and maybe walk away with your own wine collection!

Here’s how it works:

• Gather a team of five people.
• Drop off five identical bottles of either red or white wine the day before the event (location/times TBD)
  • Please indicate your team's wine selection (red, white, no preference) during registration. Historically, we've featured only red wines—but we're considering adding white wines this year if there’s enough interest! While we'll do our best to accommodate preferences, team placements and wine selections cannot be guaranteed. You will receive an e-mail prior to the event notifying you if your team is assigned to bring red or white wine with sufficient time to allow you to make your purchase.
• Sample a wide selection of wines and vote for your favorites
• Top teams win dozens of bottles of wine to take home!
• Enjoy a night of wine tasting, great company, and heavy appetizers curated by Grand Street Cafe.
• Dress code: Anywhere from business casual to your snazziest attire—have fun with it!
• Registration is required, and all attendees must be 21+.
• Please indicate any dietary restrictions during registration.
