Benilde Hall's 30 Year Celebration Luncheon: A Hand Full Of Hope

Friday, December 6, 2024 (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM) (CST)

Description

For three decades and counting, Benilde Hall has been dedicated to helping homeless individuals and Veterans recover, find permanent housing, and secure sustainable employment by offering transitional housing, substance use treatment, mental health services, job skills training, life skills counseling, and many other much-needed resources. We have served over 7,000 individuals since our doors opened and we want to celebrate this incredible impact with you! Join us for a Jack Stack BBQ lunch at the Rumely Tractor Historic Event Space as we celebrate 30 years of service at Benilde Hall. Former Kansas City Royals first baseman Willie Aikens will deliver the keynote address, sharing his story of baseball, incarceration, and overcoming substance use disorder. Sly James, former Kansas City Mayor and former Marine, will be emceeing the event. Not only will this event be an inspiring tribute to Benilde Hall's amazing work, but it will also be an excellent opportunity to network and get connected with a community of individuals united by their compassion for others. We hope to see you there!
