Join genKC for an engaging Leadership Up Close conversation with Dr. Nicole Price, CEO of Lively Paradox, a Kansas City–based leadership development and training firm dedicated to building stronger, more sustainable organizations. 

Once a skeptic of empathy in leadership, Dr. Price now brings empathy into boardrooms across the country—helping leaders challenge assumptions, deepen trust, and lead with greater impact. Her work reframes empathy not as a soft skill, but as a powerful leadership tool that drives connection, accountability, and results. 

As a passionate advocate for Kansas City’s role as the Heart of the nation, Dr. Price believes our community can serve as a catalyst for empathetic leadership nationwide. In this candid, up-close discussion, she’ll share insights from her journey, lessons learned from working with leaders across industries, and practical takeaways for leading with purpose in today’s world.
