Centurions Actives and Alumni | Spring Valley Park Cleanup

This event is open to all Centurions Actives, Alumni, and guests. Children are welcome to participate.

Join fellow Centurions Actives and Alumni for the Spring Valley Park Cleanup as we launch the Alumni Legacy Project in honor of Bernard Powell and celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Centurions Leadership Program. This meaningful day of service will bring together generations of Centurions to invest in our community, strengthen connections across classes, and honor Bernard Powell’s lasting legacy of leadership, service, and impact in Kansas City. Volunteers will spend the morning picking up trash, gardening, and supporting miscellaneous cleanup efforts throughout Spring Valley Park to help revitalize and beautify the space. Together, we will create a lasting tribute that reflects the spirit of Centurions and our shared commitment to civic engagement for the next 50 years and beyond.
